Welding and Grinding

Our welding capabilities include TIG, MIG, and resistance welding. Material thickness ranges from 26 gauge to 3/8” thick. Powder coating includes texture and smooth finishes.

Plating: anodization, chrome plating, nickel plating, passivation, and other commonly plated finishes

Finishes: #4 Stain, #8 Mirror Polish, #7 Vibration, Sandblasted, and other architectural finishes

TIG W

elding

TIG welding has a smaller weld bead so it’s great for cosmetic welding where joints and seams need to be covered. This highly skilled welding technique can turn a simple sheet metal item into an expensive-looking machined or cast metal component.

MIG Welding

MIG welding is mostly done for structural welding where a very strong weld is needed. This technique creates a larger bead of weld and is a faster process compared to TIG welding.

Resistance Welding

This process is also known as spot welding - fusing two parts together by applying heat and pressure. This technique is a production process where a joint is created much faster than other welding techniques.

Production Welding and Quality Control

Welding jigs and other production techniques are regularly utilized for production. Part consistency is achieved with jigs and/or “self-aligned” part design. Weld quality is controlled by the size of welded bead and the consistency of the bead size.
