Polishing and Finishing
Our team provides a variety of finishes on different metals. Finishes include #4 Stain, #8 Mirror Polish, #7 Vibration, #6 Architectural Long Grain, sandblasted, and other architectural finishes. Powder coating includes textured and smooth finishes. Chemical finishes include anodization, chrome plating, nickel plating, passivation, and other common plated finishes.
Polished Stainless Steel Finish
This mirror-like finish is done with a 3-step polishing process where all the imperfections are removed step by step. It’s a high-end finish that can bring value to your products.
#4 Satin Stainless Steel Finish
After welding, we can restore the #4 Satin finish on your stainless steel products using a multi-step process to remove the weld, restore the grainline, and add a smooth top layer finish. The finished product is clean with no seams. Check out our project gallery for examples of other welded products.
Two-tone Stainless Steel Finishes
Many different finishes can be achieved with stainless steel. Here’s a product with two finishes - #4 Satin and #8 Polished.
Sandblasted with #6 Long Grain finish
Many different finishes can be achieved with stainless steel. Here’s a product with two finishes - sandblasted and #6 Long Grain line finish. Sandblast finish can be fine or coarse. The weld bead size will determine the texture size.
#6 Long Grain Finishes
This beautiful architectural finish is great for a long architectural structure, such as an elevator entrance frame, hand railing, and other large panels. Pictured on the left is a #6 Long Grain finish on a 3/8” stainless steel plate. The miter joint was done to marry the vertical and horizontal lines.
Polished and Plated Steel
Chrome-plated or nickel-plated steel parts with a polished surface have a mirror-like finish with hardened protective surface. Check out our “Additional Services” page to see the other metal finishes available.
